Glenda lived 5 houses from me during elementary & high school. She was full of life & a character! Life was never dull when Glenda was around. I was hoping to catch up with her at the reunion. Sadly, I just have the memories.
I moved to Phoenix in eighth grade, and attended Madison 2 for one year before starting our Freshman year at Camelback. Glenda was one of the first friends I made during those early weeks at a new school. She was full of life, a little mischievious, and so much fun! I clearly remember toilet-papering my first house with her in 1964, after a party at Terry Valenzuela's house. What a thrill it was! We almost got caught--but escaped, and laughed until we cried. That girl always had a smile on her face, and a sparkle in her eye. And that is truly a nice way to be remembered! RIP Glenda Magruder. ❣️
