Timothy Ganey

Left Phoenix for Northern CA at 22. Spent two years working my way into restaurant management in San Francisco, then moved to Santa Rosa, CA and opened a new restaurant for that company. After three years, got an opportunity to start a fruit juice processing company with two friends. Spent the next eight years having a ball and building a pretty successful regional fruit juice packaging company. Our production and inventory control manager was the smartest and most beautiful woman I had ever known. On 01/01/1990, she said YES! And on 01/01/2020, we will celebrate our 30th.

In 1995 we moved to Las Vegas, the last place on the planet I thought I would ever want to live. Cynthia grew up in Las Vegas and it seems we both have the desert in our blood. We raised two of our fabulous kids here, and have a great community of friends and family.

Cynthia spent the early years climbing the corporate ladder at HSBC, becoming a Regional VP. Her Dad and I had a successful commercial flooring contracting business. Wanting more control of our own time, Cynthia and I started a home inspection business. I've been a home inspector for 15 years and truly enjoy it, helping my clients make the best informed purchasing decisions they can make.

In her spare time, Cynthia started running to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and got hooked. After completing numerous marathons, she became a mentor and then a coach. She has trained over 600 people from the couch to crossing a half or full marathon finish line. She also got me off the couch and we have, over time, completed several ultra distances.

About ten years ago, we got the opportunity to put on our own charity running event and since then now own a race management company, having put on over 100 running/walking races and have been able to raise thousands of dollars for worthwhile charities.

I've had the luck of the Irish...I have a fabulous wife, fabulous kids, am able to pay my bills and give a little back.

Being on the Junior Varsity team as a defensive linebacker and having to try and stop Danny Cullen!
