David William Barr was born in Phoenix to Billie and George Barr.  A 1969 graduate of Camelback High School, Dave was a talented musician. Dave played music at a various of churches in Phoenix, and loved riding his motorcycle.  Dave retired from the City of Phoenix in 2012.

Dave is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marilyn, his son, his parents, his sister, 2 step daughters, 4 granchildren, a nephew and a niece.
